FROZEN PRODUCTS

The Port of Lorient offers a capacity of 100,000 m3 of cold storage (down to – 25°C), 5,500 m² of positive cold transit area spread over 2 platforms and is therefore a key partner for import/export companies in the Greater Western Region. The Port now has a modern quayside cold-storage used to develop cold supply chain business and promote low-cost maritime transport.

OUR STRENGHS (quayside cold-storage)

· total capacity : 22,400 m3
· 150 m wharf with 2 cranes
· ships : up to 200 m long and - 8.50 m draught
· 3 cold storage down to – 25 °C
· 3,700 t mass storage / 2,500 t refrigerated pallet area
· positive cold : 2,000 m²
· 10 truck gates doors with loading docks
· 7 gates connected to the quayside
