The port is managed by the Morbihan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIM)
and is certified ISO 9001: 2000.
It is specialised in 4 main categories of trade :
• Petroleum
products : unleaded, diesel oil and fuel oil (1,096,085 tonnes in 2007)
• Agri-bulk products : for animal
foodstuff (pig, poultry, bovine): soya pellets and meal, sunflower
pellets, fish meal, manioc, groundnut, sorghum, rye, etc… (1,044,851 tons in
2007)
• Sand and gravels : sea sand
and “maërl” sea weed (859,674 tonnes in 2007)
• General cargo
: temperature controlled products, wood, scrap iron, pig iron, fertilizers, sodium
carbonate, shredded tyres, kaolin, paper pulp, heavy lift cargoes, etc. (121,956
tonnes in 2007)
